It's another burning hot weather, but did not stop me & lao ye fm gng to IMM. We need to purchase our air con soon in order to get the trunking works done 1st before electrical & plumbing works can be carried out.
The 1st shop we entered was AllBest and was entertained by this friendly salesman, Bernard. Telling him we need to buy System 3 with inverters and he recommended us Toshiba inverters. 16K BTU for living rm, 9k BTU each for MBR & Study Rm. Compressor made in Japan with 5 yrs warranty.
The price was quoted was $2499 + $100 (unlimited wirings, etc) + $40 for additional trip as 1st trip was to install trunking & 2nd trip to install FCU. (If FCU gets dusty during the reno works, it may shorten the life span of its function).
It was a promo price & the salesman commented only left with last 5 pcs. Once all sold, price will resume to original. We were so tempted to buy it but decided to chk out Gain City & Best Tech.
Unfortunately for Gain City, the model is already sold out. We did not check out Best Tech cos they did not sell the Toshiba air con.
Anyway, decided to head home first and check out the comments abt All Best in the forums before buying.
