Today after attending the reno seminar at the National Museum (Seminar rm) with Moontie, I learned quite a lot from the seminar. Enjoyed Bryan Wong's session, he really shares a lot of renovation tips such as what type of lightings & flooring tiles to use...

Went to the CJ Hkg Cafe for dinner, Moontie paid for the meal. :)

Time to MIA fm SG for 4D3N (22-25May2008)...

Lao ye's daddy helped us to carry our luggages downstairs. Felt so paisey to make him woke up at 3am+ just to carry our luggages.

Departure flight is at T3 - the new Changi Airport terminal... United Airlines... Due to sum technical problem, the flight delayed for half hr at the set off lane.

Opening Ceremony

Today marks the first day where the lift besides my house starts operating on every level. It will be convenient to travel up & down from now on...

I went to switch off the light after coming out from the washroom forgetting my HR colleague was still inside. Ahhhhhhhh!!!

A nasty email

Today I sent a nasty email to one of the contractors. I dun feel bad at all. Instead, I feel happy to send out this email, nt worried whether I will offend anybody at all. Maybe I 'inherit' fm my AM hw to be 'guai lan' (mean).

I had been sick for more than a month, take med take till I'm scared. Tmr meeting Eliz they all and Sat attending Princess Chloe's one mth birthday. Must go and buy nice nice present for little Chloe. Next week celebrating my bros' & Panda's bdae. The week after is Vada's bdae and... Mother's Day!!!

Old School

Went to 'climb' Mt Sophia today. Lao ye and I were panting like hell when climbing the long staircases from Dhoby Ghaut to Mt Sophia. We were heading to 'Old School'.

I ordered Crispy bacon pasta and lao ye ordered his first time ever in life - Homemake Wagyu beef burger. The restaurant is called Bistro Gaga. Waiters & waitresses quite attentive. Overall food & service not bad. No wonder have to pay 50 over bucks... Will u/l some fotos on the cafe soon.

I am always in love with Japanese food... Oiishi!!!

Lao ye brought me to the newly open (Jan 2008) Tetsu Japanese restaurant at Tanglin Mall today. Opened by Food Junction Mgmt. Price a bit steep.

2008 Mousie Yr

Another yr had passed... In a few days time, I will be working half yr in my current com. Just a recall of some of the activities in yr 2007.

1) Went to Korea including Jeju Island in May. Fell sick after coming back from Korea and had a bad cough for almost one mth.
Remarks: I will still visit Korea again!!!

2) Resigned from KN in June and found a new job two weeks later.
Remarks: No regrets resigning from KN!!!

3) D&D at Meritius Mandarin. Almost travel to the wrong location, shall be Orchard and not Marina Mandarin. Had my hairdo @ Shunji Matsuo & Makeover @ Ettusais.
Remarks: Please be more alert.

4) Nov 1 - 11am. Selected our flat unit at HDB hub. Construction complete in late 2009 or early 2010.
Remarks: Cant wait to move in. My current room is like a pigsty cum storeroom.

5) Lao ye bought a Nintendo DS for my bdae and a nice romantic meal at 'DOZO'.
Remarks: Super Mario game was fun. Nice meal @ DOZO. Thanks dear!!!

Resignation

Resignation list - Eileen, Xiao Ming, Shuhui, Lao ye & coming next - Michelle. Everybody is changing job for better prospect.

Hope everybody will enjoy working in their new environment, esp Lao ye, who gave up his bonus this year and switch to a job he likes.

Jaime doll is pregnant!!!

On 4th Oct (Thurs), took 1 hr time off during lunch time to meet up with Jaime doll. We did not lunch at our usual Mr Teh Tarik as Jaime doll is pregnant, had black pepper chicken pie at Don club instead.

We had a lot to catch up. Jaime told me that she loves to have her food spicier than ever. This pregnant lady has craving for fish ball soup and soupy stuff. Her due birth is on next year April, which is also the same time where she is moving into her new flat at SengKang. I suppose she is having her house warming and baby's one month celebration at the same time.

I saw my ex colleague

On 2nd Oct (Tues), my two new colleagues - Hannah, Vada & I went down to Vivo City during lunchtime. We had our lunch at Pastamania. Just to comment that their lychee soda was not bad.

After lunch, Hannah went to meet up with the store manager at North Atrium to discuss about some promo event issues. Since Vada and I were only tagging along, we went to look at their current shoes promo event to see if we can get any good bargain.

At the atrium, I saw somebody familiar - my ex com MD's secretary. She was taking half day off doing her 'tai tai' shopping. Told her which com I am working for. By telling her my com's name, it means my ex boss and some colleagues will know the news soon...

As expected, my ex colleague email me the next day knowing which com I am working for and said next time can ask me to get discount for them liao.

For the past few mths

For the past few months, most of the time were spent in office. Almost everyday working late. It's tiring and sometimes stressful. However, during this tiring process, I realized I learned a lot of things.

Despite four people including the previous girl whom I am taking over her position, had left my department, I had 2 new nice colleagues joining in. As my boss and another executive went outstation to KL every week, I am the one calling the big shots in my department. Lol.

I always love working in town area. Life is not boring. It is also convenient to meet up with friends after work. Lucky for me, being a non executive, I am entitle to claim time off whenever I perform at least half hour overtime.

No Signboard

Panda & her hubby were supposed to meet us today, but last min 'fly kite'. The 4 of us, Moontie & her bf, Kelvin, Lao ye and me dine at No Signboard - East Coast branch.

Although it's Moontie first time dining at No Signboard, she knows their signature dish is the White pepper crab. The chilli crab tastes average (think Roland & AMK are the best so far). The mango sago with pomelo was a bit ex costing $6/bowl.

It's Lao ye & my first time seeing Kelvin. Must buy life insurance if you wanna sit in his car cos this guy's driving speed is quite fast.

In the end, we still didn't manage to pass the presents to Panda. I am going to kick this Panda's ass soon. Beta watch out.

Think I will try to mit up with Jaime doll, Michelle and Eileen soon. Please wait for my sms hor...

My Moontie Dear

Today went to meet Moontie at Bugis. We went to buy Panda's belated bdae present. Congrats on Panda's ROM.

It's been ages since we last went out together. Moontie sis is a real darling, always willing to lend a listening ear to me. Told her my unhappiness abt my insensitive Lao ye lor... Sigh...

We were discussing abt going to Bangkok next yr. Oh dear, already made so many appointments with diff ppl to eat crabs.

I knew I had made the rite decision. Let me enjoy working in my new environment and stay on for long. I want them to know I am leading a good and happy life. Live with no regrets!!!

It means that I hope my boyfriend and I will decide our future and not manipulate by anybody or anything. This blog was created bcos of this verse.
