6th May 2007 (Sun) ~ 2nd Day in Jeju Island

It was a rainy day. Today breakfast was toast with fried egg and so called abalone porridge. First destination of the day was Moksukwon Park. Strange and oddly natural lava rocks. The tour guide told us the stories and legends abt these rocks.

Touch the ground god status's nose, you will get a son. By touching his ear, you will have a daughter

Travelled to the eastern tip of Jeju Island, we visited the Songan Sunrise Peaks. It was really cold... Dear and I were shivering...

From the souvenir shops at Songan, we bought tangerine chocolate and jelly. Bought a dolphin souvenir for my gd buddy, Michelle.

Spent abt 35000 Won buying pure honey at Song up Folk Village. Traditional thatched houses under a protection order, where people continue to live and work as they have done for centuries. Males were more important than females at this village in the olden days. Had Black Pork BBQ for lunch. Quite delicious...

Went to experience the 'Mysterious Rd', the vehicle can move by its own for abt 1M with the car engine off. Today's dinner have to pay extra 25000 Won to eat a sumptous seafood steamboat. Actually, I suspected the tour guide would 'pocket' some of these $. It happens in most tour group.
