What's brewing?
Mit Ah Lie to go Holland Village today. It's the best thing to laze in a cosy cafe on a sunny Sunday.
Essential Brew Tea Cafe & Restaurant - Transcend to a realm where chic coziness defines the tone and inspirations of a modernized tea concept emanate throughout. Hmmm... Sounds so profound...
We headed to the second level, took off our shoes ( those who has HKG feet is not recommended to go 2nd level ) and seated on those plush red cushions. Reminds me of the Japanese 'Tatami' style where people are sitting on cushion instead of normal dining chair. Of course you can stretch out your legs @ Essential Brew. That's why I said those with HKG feet is nt recommended to go 2nd level.
Basically the cafe is focusing on selling tea products. You can go to their website http://www.essentialbrew.com.sg to find out more about their products.
After eating a plate of nice but oily Char Kway Teow @ Holland V, Ah Lie & I went to Raffles City basement to drink tea again. This cafe called Mix, is selling healthy beverages. Think it originate from Hong Kong, heard that the owner opened 13 stalls all over Hong Kong. The one @ Singapore is a franchise... http://www.mix-world.com.hk
